What is a pure heart? What does it mean to have a pure heart?
My feeling is that a pure heart is referring to the state of our consciousness within us. You could say that the writer of this phrase is not speaking about the physical heart, but the heart of our soul which is made of refined consciousness.
To enter the chambers of our higher self and commune with the universe it requires a heart or consciousness that is free of judgement and beyond the duality of living.
In some situations in life for some people it is hard to imagine them forgiving the harm created by another person. If someone killed a loved one or a child or a sibling it is almost unthinkable to imagine forgiving them, but forgiveness is precisely the lesson that needs to be learned.
