They stand in the way of healing and truth.
They guard against the humility of our vulnerability.
Because of them we judge our humanness.
We pretend that we are not actually who we are.
We want to hide the truth from ourselves and each other.
Because of it we are not as sincere and genuine as we could be.
Only through the genuine act of humility do we achieve honest sincerity.
This deepens our experience of love.
True love can only be experienced fully after we surrender our lies to ourselves and others.
