Consciousness is the essence or lifeblood of life. It includes both what is seen and what is not seen with our eyes.
It is an energy that fills everything.
We always have a choice where we direct our attention, where we place our awareness.
In the physical world it is placed in our mind and emotions and used to live our daily lives.
In silent meditation this awareness can discover a connection to unseen aspects of our connection to higher consciousness.
We are free to be conscious in one or the other or both if we choose.
The attention to both is the mission of awareness which is to achieve wholeness or oneness again.
In oneness our awareness works in cooperation with higher aware aspects of ourselves. It seeks to cooperate with higher consciousness in bringing more harmony into existence.
Peace is the dissolving of our duality (divided attention) and joining into the oneness again. It is knowing without conflict.
