This post is for those of you who get carried away mentally and emotionally.
Those who do not understand or realize that they can have control over their imagination.
Emotional pain and suffering are often the result of a runaway imagination.
You could say that imagination is a runaway mind.
To calm the storms of our life we have to experience separating our thoughts from our feelings.
This is done in meditation.
When we silence our mind we can stop our imagination from controlling our inner landscape and directing our life experience within.
In a way we are letting go of our minds control over us.
When we silence the mind in meditation all that we have left are the silence and our feelings.
In essence we have wiped the chalk board clean and then we can allow, if we wish, for our higher self or guidance begin to write on it whatever they wish to show us or reveal to us.
Understand that at this level of separation and detachment our mind and imagination cannot influence us.
They no longer run the show while we are consciously feeling.
Our life storms are a way our mind, imagination and emotions keep us prisoner to both our lower self identity and fear.
Finally, what we experience in meditation, the silence and higher consciousness will influence our experience when we return to operating from our mind.
The difference is that the storm is gone and we have learned how to avoid the damage it could bring us mentally and emotionally.
Reading alone cannot bring this experience to us, we must go within to experience this miracle of meditation.
