It is normal to doubt when we are unaware. Consciously we only have our beliefs and ideas to rely on. They are the foundation of our identity built up over many years.
We humans are blown by the winds of change and time. We settle for one view of things only to question its validity over time.
Doubt is a belief or idea that we have accepted without question, but life has made us question its validity. It can bring vulnerability and confusion. We can feel lost.
The reason for this is that we have divided natures. Our thinking/feeling nature is divided, so that we only perceive things one-sidedly.
