So identified with our mind are we that we cannot easily imagine ourselves to be anything else.
This causes much pain, as well as joy, and is the foundation of our ego.
It is a prison of sorts that locks us into the world.
Our imagination can give us some escape, but not total freedom.
To become free we must turn within ourselves and experience a separation from our mind, emotions, and imagination.
Consciously we must no longer identify with them.
For thousands of years, meditation has been the tool used to turn within to discover that our chains are not real, but only imagined.
What are you waiting for? What is your excuse?
