The thought of dying is a miserable experience for most of us.
We suffer and struggle to let go of this life.
Our ego pulls out all the plugs to resist letting go.
What should be a joyous release is a painful surrender.
It is the meaning of life that is the root of the problem.
We have lost contact with the soul of us inside.
We do not remember or desire the way home.
Instead we suffer the existence of our painful mind and ego.
We live divided and out of touch with reality.
Reliving old wounds we struggle to give ourselves permission to just let go.
Old judgements are reborn and we struggle to let go of them.
We are torn between a strong desire to remain and a deeper need to just let go.
We have forgotten what life is really about and who we are.
It did not have to be this way, but resisting the truth made it so.
