Our ego uses fear to keep us outside our feelings and awareness.
It isolates us and restricts us from our feelings.
Through conscious surrender it looses it’s power to deceive and hold us prisoner.
It is not necessary to kill our ego, we can’t.
Our conscious identity is both flexible and variable, it is not always fixed.
We think our identity is only our mind, emotions, imagination, memory, and ego.
It is not.
Our consciousness can and does extend beyond them if we allow it.
Meditation is how we may choose to do that, sometimes it happens if our higher self chooses to reveal itself.
The victory over fear and death can occur when we consciously realize that a higher part of us lives inside us and beyond the scope of our mind, ego and their mechanisms.
This is I feel is what the bible actually means by eternal life.
We exist and live beyond fear and death, but we must consciously realize it.
It is not possible to just choose to forget or suppress them. They will not go away.
We must choose to enter the realm of our feeling consciousness and identify with the part of us that never dies.
Until we actually experience this consciously it is just a hope or a dream for us. Something else for our mind to beat us up over.
Do not let it fool you. The victory over fear and death exists and is real.
These words cannot give it to you or convince you.
You must discover it within yourself.
