For most their view of life is only from their ego. The ego is built up over a lifetime from the beliefs and opinions of others. The foundation of our lives all over the world is in beliefs.

These beliefs support and reinforce our view of reality. They create the world we live in. A world that if full of deception and deceit. A world where some of the wealthy, powerful and rich take advantage of the poor, but will reward those who serve a world they have created.

While it says that no man is above the law, it is obvious that it better serves those with money, fame and connections. In the world of the ego it is who you know that matters.
