Change Can Hurt

Our ego suffers to stay in control. Painfully it uses fear to hold us in the illusion we are its prisoner.

This fear of letting go of our lower identity is why so many find it hard to change behavior. Our ego will clutch onto this identity at all costs to maintain control.

We have been taught to believe and trust our ego’s from birth. We sometimes will want to be different or imagine we can be, but our programming of the ego pulls us back in like Michael Corleone in the Godfather movie.
