[1] Judge not, that ye be not judged. [2] For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. [3] And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
Most of us aspire to the teachings of the bible, but unfortunately we fail to live up to them. This is because we do not know how. We have been taught that we are sinners and victims. We have been conditioned to despise ourselves and condemn what we do.
This judgement is what alienates us from the conscious knowledge and experience of our higher selves. The writer is saying that if we judge others in effect we are also judging ourselves. It is using our condemnation of others to bring conscious condemnation into ourselves.
Whatever negative thought or emotion that you carry within you becomes who you are and will affect you accordingly. Like being in a dungeon over time we loose the memory of being free. Our judgement locks the doorway into higher consciousness.
To rise above this situation we must become more aware or sensitive to the effect our judgement has on both ourselves and others. We have to accept responsibility for them and seek inner conscious knowledge of how to not slip into judgement. We must go beyond our mental and emotional bodies.
When our buttons are pushed and we become angry the ego immediately blames others or the incident for this anger. It is the way the ego denies our responsibility and hides the truth of what is actually happening. It blocks our inner path to healing ourselves by letting go or forgiveness. It blinds us to seeing it is our buried anger and not caused by the other person or event happening.
We have the power to judge and forgive and both have different results. One sets us free mentally and emotionally from a situation and the other makes us a prisoner of it, until we can let go of it.
To be empowered again we have to accept that power and realize the consequences it brings. We can choose to live in judgement and condemnation or we can choose to forgive and rise consciously to higher conscious awareness of the truth within and around us.
Our ego makes us think we have no power or we are not responsible and that is why we will do the same reaction over and over again.
IT IS ALWAYS OUR CHOICE, ALWAYS HAS BEEN.
