Karma is not a word that people fall in love with. For many it means that they have lost their freewill. Some bristle and become indignant at just the word.
The ego gives us an illusion that we can do and become anything we wish if we just try. Life experience shows us that with the exception of a few individuals this is not true.
As an Astrologer I know from observing people’s lives that the majority of people experience life as a bumpy road with many detours. Some may reach the goals they want, but most either change them or give up to just survive.
At some point they may become bitter or fall down from the loss of imagined dreams, but some will realize it was meant to be. They looked deeper into the experience of their life and found hidden gems.
It is believed by many that the purpose of our life is to find success, whatever that is. To make lots of money, maybe become famous, gain power and find the most beautiful partner in the world. Our ego is conditioned to believe this will make us happy, but reality shows it is not for long.
Reality is that each of our lives has a secret script running behind the scene’s of our worldly experience. We may not know why, but detours and potholes are encountered regularly in most lives. Even the rich and famous have them and like most people ignore the message in them.
The hidden message is that before we achieve worldly pleasures we need to become a whole person. Not one guided by the desires of our ego, but one created in partnership with our higher selves.
Wisdom is needed to be successful in life and to understand the pitfalls of our lower nature. To achieve the higher purpose of our life and make it our reason for being.
The wise person knows and understands karma, respects it’s lessons and follows its directions without fail. The foolish person stumbles through life clothed in ignorance.
