Passing The Tests Of Life

Of Adversity

Nothing tests us more than the things we cannot control.

We detest them.

They knock us off balance, shut us down and create an emotional stew.

On top of this they can drive us into lower consciousness and in worse cases bring us to anger and hatred.

It is a downward spiral into darkness ,and without forgiveness of ourselves and maybe others we can become lost there.

All doors into higher consciousness are closed when we allow darkness to creep in.

This is a merry-go-round for almost us all, and because we do not know how to get off it we return there again and again.

We will not get off this merry-go-round until the ride stops and we stop it.

What I am speaking about is the merry-go-round of negative thoughts and emotions.

We believe they control us, but they do not, we have given them control over us.

We identify with them and they become us.

To be free of them we have to break contact with them and discover the truth that we do not have to allow them to run us over.

For centuries meditation has been the tool to break the link to them.
