It is easy to tell someone to stay calm, but another thing is to be calm.
Most people do not know how and even if they try there is no guarantee that they can remain calm.
Calmness is a quality of consciousness that is not disturbed by negativity or emotion.
It requires us to have a deeper relationship with ourselves than we normally do.
We must experience inner calm or peace to know for ourselves that it exists.
Meditation is a tool that has been used for thousands of years to accomplish this.
