Judging them in our imagination.
Believing what others said or say about them.
Formulating a negative impression about them.
Without actually knowing them.
We all have or are doing this to some extent.
Judgement separates us from the reality and truth of another.
It is condemnation, but only in our imagination.
They are convicted by our imagination.
But not the actual truth about them.
Our imagination can be great if we are writing fiction.
In reality though it can also be far removed from the truth.
Would you want others to judge you by here say or imagination?
Or would you prefer a meeting of the minds and hearts.
Robert.
How terrible to be judged by someone, especially if they don’t really know you. It happens all the time and is unfair. We will never be everyone’s cup of tea. I used to cry as a child if someone was mean to me for no reason. My mom said,” Jo, not everyone will like you in life no matter how good you are!” I’ve always been easygoing but thankful for what my mother said to me that day. People will always judge, it’s the nature of the beast. I just try to put myself in someone else’s shoes to understand. Either that or don’t bother and walk away. Life’s too short to waste time on caring to judge someone on their appearance, race, gender etc. The human race never ceases to amaze me…or is it shock!
