The Search for Self
The last time I wrote about this I noticed that some of my subscribers left.
It offended them to consider such an outrageous notion.
It undoubtedly made their ego angry as we like to hold onto the notion we are sinners, deserve to be punished, and will never measure up.
Such is the programming of many since their birth.
Our egos are cleaver and confusion and deception are the tools of its trade.
They see change as only a change in our state of mind and not deep inner conscious rebirth.
Our ego does not want to meet our deeper conscious self.
It will never surrender willingly.
It lives in excuses, theories, and opinions and calls them truth.
It cringes at the thought of an absolute self within us.
