It is not difficult, or require some special instruction or ritual.
Feeling is simply a redirection of our attention to within us.
Our consciousness does not end, because we are not outwardly focused.
It continues infinitely within us also, but requires different abilities.
We develop those abilities by turning within to our feelings.
Their names are intuition and telepathy or clairaudience or clairvoyance.
You could say that they are hearing or seeing at a different level of conscious awareness.
