"Without a heart nothing can be called intelligent." Fully agreed on that. The heart has a good portion of cells similar to that of the brain, as do other organs. I believe the heart is our center of our physical being and sentient self, our gateway to the universe.
Very nice James, it is the feeling center of life within us and on a much deeper level a connection to the conscious feeling nature of the universe. It is pure life energy.
