Robert, maybe it’s just me but I believe too many people take their own selves too seriously. Good gods! If I took my own self seriously I would have jumped off a bridge years ago! People need to learn how to laugh at their own foibles. I once paraded myself through a fine restaurant with my dress hem tucked into my panty hose! I vainly thought I was turning heads because I was extra cute that night. Then I saw my girlfriends screaming laughter and realized I’d probably over-estimated my charms. Sheesh! I never went back there again but I can still laugh about it!

I’ve survived a lot in my life of 70 years. Laughter has kept me sane.

Life has its ups and downs. Those are lessons for us. Be grateful when times are good! Take comfort in knowing bad times pass. I was widowed young and survived. I’ve had heartbreaks and I’ve known joy. I’m rarely bored because I can amuse myself. I don’t fear death because I’m good to go when my work/lessons are finished. I hope I go with a smile on my face! And hope my friends remember me with a giggle. 🤨😇

Well said Karen, most of our world is unaware of anything but being a victim and serving masters of wealth and money. We talk a good fight, say all the right words, but are unaware of the truth and its reality for us.
